The Ministry Of Home Affairs Has Not Yet Issued The List Of Risk Goods – No Quality Inspection Applied

On 24 July 2026, the Customs Department issued Official Letter No. 19435/CHQ-GSQL concerning guidance on carrying out quality inspection of products and goods of medium and high risk level under the authority of the Ministry of Home Affairs.

Accordingly, from 1 July 2026, where the Ministry of Home Affairs has not yet issued the List of medium- and high-risk goods under Decree 37/2026/ND-CP, the customs authority will process the imported goods as ordinary goods and will not apply quality inspection.

This regulation is intended to resolve difficulties during the transitional period while the risk List is not yet available, and to ensure that customs clearance of goods is not disrupted.
